Thick Consistency:

Combine 1 tablespoon of the leaves with 1 cup of warm-hot water. Allow to sit for at least ten minutes, stirring occasionally to release mucilage. Gently massage into the hair and detangle with a comb or your fingers. Rinse thoroughly. Optional: Strain Leaves out (this is not necessary as the leaves will glide out of your hair, but it is an option).

Traditional Recommendation:

Put one liter of hot water in a container and add a tablespoon of Ambunu. Let sit for 10 (ten) minutes. Then gently massage into the hair and detangle with a comb or your fingers. Rinse thoroughly. Optional: Strain Leaves out (this is not necessary as the leaves will glide out of your hair, but it is an option).
